Insurance Coverage

Chicago Perinatal Therapy is in-network with the following PPO insurance plans:

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield

  • Aetna

  • Cigna

  • UnitedHealthcare

Out-of-Network Coverage

If your insurance plan is not in-network with the PPO providers above, you may pay out of pocket. I can provide a monthly superbill summarizing services rendered, which you can submit directly to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.

If you plan to use insurance, please contact your provider before starting therapy to confirm behavioral health coverage, including copays, deductibles, and session limits.

Intake Appointments: $200
Subsequent Sessions: $180

Out-of-Network Fees

Payment

Chicago Perinatal Therapy accepts all major credit and debit cards, FSA and HSA cards, and Zelle. Clients are required to keep a card on file.

Cancellation Policy

Sessions must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance. Missed sessions or cancellations with less than 24 hour notice — barring emergencies — are charged $150. This policy applies to all virtual sessions.

Good Faith Estimate

By law, under the No Surprises Act, healthcare providers must give clients who are paying out of pocket or not using insurance an estimate of the expected costs for treatment services. This is called a Good Faith Estimate.

The estimate includes the costs of items and services reasonably expected for your care at the time the estimate is created. This may include related services like therapy sessions, tests, or equipment, if applicable.

The Good Faith Estimate does not include unexpected costs that may arise during treatment. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, federal law allows you to dispute the bill.
